Seeking Perioperative Physicians

The Irish Perioperative Medicine Society is supporting perioperative physicians working in Irish university hospitals to take part in a research study exploring their role in supporting health behaviour change as part of prehabilitation.

Prehabilitation focuses on optimising patients’ physical, nutritional, and psychological health before surgery to improve outcomes.

Participation involves completing a short online questionnaire (approximately 8 minutes), with an optional follow-up interview. The study aims to inform future improvements in perioperative care pathways. Participation is voluntary, and all responses are pseudonymised
